On a small swell it did not work on high tide. Maybe high tide works on bigger swells though, but I am not sure.
When the waves are small, this spot suits all surfers; bigger waves make it better for intermediate or advanced ones.
Water quality is generally good in the Netherlands but the water is not clear because of the sand.
Consistency is generally low in the Netherlands. Good to decent surf days on average once a month in the Netherlands.
When the swell is high, Ter Heijde can get quite big and the paddle out is far away and quite difficult. Most of the time there is no channel to get to the outside. On medium to small surf days it is fine. This spot is not crowded
High tide, light south wind, NW swell 0.8m @ 6 seconds, but still bad waves. Maybe with this swell it works better on low tide. At Hoek van Holland it was very good though

Good summer surf day in shorty. These days are very rare for the Netherlands.
